POSITION SCOPE

Fisher Industries is seeking an energetic, organized Full-Time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We value collaboration and teamwork, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable working, either independently or as part of a team, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strict attention to detail. This dynamic position plays a vital role in various aspects of marketing, including market research, content creation, event management, award coordination, and photo/video production. You'll collaborate with our marketing team to enhance our brand presence and engage with our audience across digital, print, and social media channels.


PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling marketing content, including social media posts, graphic design, website content, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Photo/Video Production: Documenting company jobs/projects with still imagery and video. Editing using Adobe Creative Cloud and video editing software.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, consumer behavior, industry specific publications for potential advertising, and recruitment trends.
  • Award Coordination: Support the submission and management of industry awards and recognitions.
  • Event Management: Participate in planning and coordinating marketing/PR events including trade shows, internal/external career fairs, and other industry events.
  • Donations/Sponsorships: Be the main contact for donation and sponsorship requests working directly with Sr. Management.
  • Public Relations Governance: Work directly with external media outlets handling media request calls/emails.
  • PR Committee Coordination: Coordinate/Supervise a group of selected employees that plans employee appreciation events and functions.
  • Community Engagement: Become involved in industry specific associations, build relationships/contacts with high schools and universities/colleges/trade schools, be active in community related organizations/events promoting Fisher Industries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with management, team members, clients, and customers where applicable.
  • Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with content management and webpage analytics.
  • Understanding of industry best practices.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and familiarity with current marketing trends.
  • Great organization, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Video Editing Software, Squarespace.
  • Basic photography/video skillset & Drone (FAA Part 107 Certified or willing to obtain)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing specifically withing the Heavy Civil Construction industry.
  • Possesses a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Must be at a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Pre-employment drug test is required.
