Vaco is working with a Federal Credit Union in their search for aSmall Business Administration (SBA) Loan Servicing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the servicing of SBA loans within our organization. You will ensure compliance with SBA regulations, manage a team of loan servicing professionals, and develop strategies to streamline loan servicing processes.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of loan servicing specialists.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to ensure efficient loan servicing operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Loan Servicing Operations:
- Oversee the servicing of SBA loans, including loan disbursements, payments, and collections.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan transactions while adhering to SBA regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor loan portfolios to identify and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on SBA regulations, guidelines, and policies related to loan servicing.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies governing SBA loan servicing.
- Implement measures to mitigate compliance risks and maintain documentation for audits and reviews.
Customer Service:
- Serve as a point of contact for borrowers and internal stakeholders regarding SBA loan servicing inquiries.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve the overall customer experience in loan servicing processes.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline loan servicing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize workflow and reduce turnaround times.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5+years of experience in SBA loan servicing or commercial loan operations, with at least 3+years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of SBA regulations and guidelines governing loan servicing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
