ASML has employees over 60 locations in 16 countries. We deploy expatriates overseas on long term basis to achieve business priorities.

International Mobility Office (IMO) is the department that determine the Assignment Policies, execute an assignment life cycle, and advise business on the best approach to deploy employees under different situations. IMO looks into immigration, tax, social security, relocation, etc. aspects of an assignment and ensure the top of the class employee experiences.

Role and responsibilities
  • Guide the assignee throughout the assignment cycle upon assignment approval and coordinate end-to-end assignment processes
  • Work closely with business on the best strategy to deploy long term assignees in various country combinations. Explain policies and provide advice for the business to make sound decisions.
  • Work with mobility vendors including immigration, tax, social security, relocation, medical insurance to ensure quality service delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments such payroll, facility management, HR, procurement, legal to optimize employee experiences
  • Take active role in major department projects
  • Coordinate internal and external vendors to resolve host country issues
    • Act as the point of contact for host country departments outside of IMO.
    • Act as the main contact for relocation company, and tax and immigration providers
    • Act as the point of contact for assignees, their managers, and HR
    • Provide welcome orientation to newly arrived assignees and follow through inquiries raised during the orientation.
    • Respond inbound assignees' inquiry and re-direct the assignee to appropriate department
    • Find the best solution among the assignee's requests, company's interests, and vendor processes
    • Resolve issues that rises in daily operations
    • Review and process US immigration application for US inbound assignee

Education and experience
  • Bachelor degree
  • 5-7 years of experiences in global mobility

  • Pragmatic and result-driven approach
  • Excellent communicator. Convincing and assertive traits
  • Attention to details
  • Capable to navigate through complicated processes and deviations
