This role will be the equipment expert for the Intel team to support the installation, upgrades, commissioning and troubleshooting of Edwards Equipment to ensure we are providing technical customer focused support for all Edwards equipment and will allow us to provide 7x12 on-site technical support to the customer.

The Role:

  • Support Edwards Service and Sales organizations in installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of all Edwards equipment installed onsite.
  • Provide project engineering/management support for new projects proposals and upgrade programs.
  • Provide Expert technical support/first level of escalation for the site team and training for the on-site service team enhancing on-site service teams' ability to support Edwards equipment.
  • Provide feedback to Intel Technical support group on equipment performance and support requirements.
  • Work closely with the technical support team and PCs to ensure that NPI, CIP projects receive the appropriate field input and the local site team(s) have the training, procedures and the parts needed for CIPs and NPIs.
  • Develop local work instructions and procedures as required to support installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Lead on site regularly scheduled technical meetings to ensure that the site team is aware of all technical issues and lesson learned.
  • Work with the team lead and site manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team

What We Expect of You?

Education/ Experience

  • AS degree or equivalent in relevant technical field, (full military equivalent may substitute for the AS degree), or 4+ years' related technical experience (i.e., military, electromechanical devices, comms)
  • 5 years related industry experience including the completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position and has demonstrated understanding of the product.
  • Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.

Knowledge areas/Skills

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Able to learn how to read engineering drawings and electrical diagramsand understand defined specifications.Become competent in the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Proficient computer skills which include thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to set priorities, follow instructions and exercise independent judgment when appropriate;be a self-starter and strong finisher.
  • Excellent organization, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be capable of exercising independent judgment, work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Must possess good written and oral presentation skills.
  • Possess excellent customer interfacing presence, and musthave good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, and possess a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence.
  • Successful completion of Physical Capability assessment required.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
