Travel to job sites to assist in safely assembling and disassembling company-owned and rented cranes.
Making mechanical repairs to cranes and crane components as needed.
Driving a service vehicle to different work locations, and staying away from home on a regular basis.
Perform monthly and annual inspections on cranes once they are assembled.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge of the manufacturer's cautions relating to the assembly and disassembly of each crane.
Familiar with the assembly/disassembly process for each crane.
Must have competency regarding OSHA's standards, specific to assembly/disassembly.
A/D Certification required.
5 years of experience in the heavy construction industry
Crane operator certification from an accredited organization (NCCCO, NCCER) is required.
Basic rigging skills at a minimum.
Crane signal person certification
Must have basic computer skills
Must have attention to detail, be a self-starter, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and peers.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
