We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Total Workplace Florida team. The Total Workplace Florida team helps clients define and implement enterprise-wide strategies that impact workforce and workplace. Our team members work with brokers and their clients to identify workplace attributes and create flexible and feasible strategies to help organizations thrive in today's world of constant transformation. The Total Workplace Florida team consists of strategic problem-solvers with a strong ability to understand quantitative and qualitative inputs and develop unique solutions to help our brokers and their clients achieve enterprise goals. Our team regularly supports clients with talent and growth forecasting, workplace experiences, portfolio-wide solutions, location and real estate strategies, financial and operational performance, and workplace transformation.

The Senior Consultant will work closely with brokerage team members from brain-storming ideas to presenting final client recommendations. They will also assist in sales efforts as needed.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be based in one of our local Florida offices (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Tampa).

As a Senior Consultant, you'll work closely with Total Workplace Florida leadership, gain experience in a variety of industries and be responsible for gathering and evaluating data, facilitating work sessions and interviews, conducting surveys/assessments, preparing presentations and requests for qualifications/proposals, creating concept layouts, and developing programmatic and strategic solutions for our clients. You will help our team successfully complete engagements for clients in:

* Programming and space planning

* Workforce transformation

* Real Estate optimization, and merger/acquisition strategy

* Employee experience and change management

* Corporate real estate organizational strategy & process design

Responsibilities include:

  • Support in the collection and analysis of client data including gathering and evaluating architectural, facilities, financial, and real estate market data for input into project-specific deliverables
  • Contribute to qualitative and quantitative analyses including facilities and portfolio data (floor plans, headcount, and KPIs) and other materials as part of project due diligence
  • Assist with field assessment of clients' real estate portfolio and facilities plans
  • Participate in benchmarking exercises through data collection to identify key metrics
  • Support and facilitate workshops, focus groups, surveys, and leadership interviews
  • Synthesize output gained from floor plans, occupancy data, technology assumptions, and surveys for client recommendations
  • Develop space programs that can be leveraged for test fits and architecture planning
  • Create high-level space concept plans, test fits and adjacency diagrams
  • Assist with preparation of client deliverables and presentations to support real estate transactions and client presentations
  • Attend client presentations to assist and support senior team members
  • Contribute to effective change management strategies to ensure successful and lasting change
  • Contribute to the project lifecycle by: conducting research and needs analysis; resolving issues; executing against a project plan; and helping to ensure that effective change has occurred
  • Assist senior team members in communicating project findings and recommendations
  • Contribute to the research and development of white papers and industry reports
  • Help create marketing proposals and collateral
  • Support process improvement to streamline workflow efficiencies
  • Participate in team sales presentations
  • Broker outreach virtual and in-person for Florida
  • Look for and make recommendations to apply new industry tools/technology to current projects
  • Occasional travel, estimated at 25% as client needs dictate
  • Other job duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree (required)
  • Architecture or Interior Design degree and/ or certifications (preferred)
  • 3-5+ years consulting experience required, particularly in the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, Design, Space Planning, Location Strategy, Portfolio Strategy, Workplace Strategy, and/or Change Management
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills including Statistics/Research experience, and/or Analytical experience; Analytical mindset (Preferred)
  • Ability to interpret floorplans and suggest changes as needed
  • Proficiency in CAD, Revit, or similar space modeling software technology (Preferred)
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in an agile environment, including virtual collaboration with remote colleagues
  • Ability to multi-task and successfully work in a team, and individually in high-pressure deadline driven environments
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills to support project documentation, correspondence and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, openness to learning and self-starter
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel, as needed. Travel estimated up to 25% but can vary due to client needs
