An experienced VMware Infrastructure Manager

The Work:

Accenture's Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering professionals partner with our clients to advise, create, and deploy end-to-end infrastructure transformation solutions, enabling business innovation. These solutions are the backbone of driving IT-enabled differentiation. IE professionals are grounded in New-IT with an expertise in one or more of our core practice areas: Workplace and Collaboration, Network Technology, Service Management, Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud, and traditional Data Center. The Cloud Transformation and Architecture Manager will plan and lead transformations of complex IT environments to drive business outcomes. Architect and deliver technology solutions leveraging next-gen IT models and agile, scalable architectures that meet the need of today's corporate and digital applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition, design and documentation of technical environments.
  • Deploy solution architectures, conduct analysis of alternative architectures, create architectural standards, define processes to ensure conformance with standards, institute solution-testing criteria, define a solution's cost of ownership, and promote a clear and consistent business vision through technical architectures.

Here's What you Need:

  • A minimum of eight years of experience with VMware
  • A minimum of eight years of DataCenter experience with hardware (Cisco) and virtual storage
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least two of the following: Microsoft Cloud, AWS Cloud, Google Cloud Platform
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience is required. If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

Bonus Points If:

  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Cisco UCS Implementation
  • Experience with Cloud WAF as well as Cisco NSX Firewall Architecture
  • Experience with Cloud based Infrastructure Architecture
  • Experience with Virtual Storage Infrastructure

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location Annual Salary Range

California $93,400 to $224,600

Colorado $93,400 to $194,100

New York - Albany $86,500 to $179,700

New York City $108,100 to $224,600

Washington $99,500 to $206,700
