Serves as Resident Engineer in a construction field office. Supervises field and office technicians by providing engineering and technical direction in the administration of multiple and highly complex construction projects. Work involves engineering analysis, highway or structures design, traffic engineering, maintenance, and construction. Represents the agency before the public and other agencies, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a registered P.E. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field in the State of Arizona or eligible for reciprocity in the State of Arizona.
  • A minimum of 8 years experience supervising field and office technicians on transportation related construction projects is required.
